It is the anniversary of the birth of the woman that I love with all my heart.

I have wanted to keep these pages updated but could not bring myself to completely remove the original comments even though three years have passed since this page was created!


	This pic was taken Sept. 7, 1988 - Thirteen years ago. Dawn still looks the same and still gets carded! LMAO

For those of you who do not already know...Dawn is also known as ^Deej on IRC. She used to frequent the DalNet "Beginner" channel but has not been on DalNet much in the past couple of years.. She likes helping out those who are not quite familiar with IRC and things like that. She also spends a good portion of her time chatting and playing wav's with all her friends in Beginner. (Which, by the way is sort of a contradiction in terms...the typing speed and skill level required to keep up in this huge channel can frustrate the typical beginner.) Sometimes I think they should change the name of the channel to "Expert", but if you want to ask a question and get a good solid answer from a polite, helpful person this is the place to go.

She also spends a fair amount of time on various online gaming sites. She likes to play spades, hearts, backgammon and checkers .

Dawn is also listed as Internet help and serves as a network monitor on her home domain of rr1.net. Quite a few folks use her as "tech support" and she is always glad to help out when someone is having a problem. You might drop in on her page and sign her guest book. If you're not into signing guest books you might want to drop her an email.

I suppose by revealing all of this I am sort of placing a "blot" on her bratty image...but to tell you the truth she can act as bratty as she wants and underneath she will always be the sweet, warm, lovable, caring woman that I fell in love with. That doesn't mean that she cannot live up to her "Brat Ring" status if she chooses. I am frequently reminded that she is very proud of her membership in this elite organization.


	Here is a more recent photo that reveals a bit more of her bratty and mischeivous nature. Hard to believe that these two pics are NINE years apart...isn't it?

In more recent times she has started her own Computer Consulting Agency and works from home. This allows her to spend time with the kids and work at her own pace. She builds web pages, repairs and upgrades computers, teaches people how to use their computers and just generally solves problems for people. She does all of this without any outside training, she is completely self taught!

Dawn is also a very caring individual. She selflessly chooses to donate her time when she feels that the cause is worthwhile. She spends quite a bit of her time volunteering at the First Christian Church of Mattoon. She is a Sunday school teacher, Youth Club teacher, Deaconess and also helps out with numerous other activities. We have also served together as chaperones on several church youth group outings. One of the neatest things she has done is to create a web page for the church. This is part of her personal effort to bring more young people to Christ.
